The day before the Day of Dedication was filled with many chores. The sisters had to make sure that the preparations for the big day ran smoothly. Be it shifting furniture, sprucing up main areas, hanging decorations, taking care of guests and visitors who have travelled from afar who will be staying overnight... Can you picture the preparation that goes on in the kitchen to feed about 1000 mouths?

High above amidst the hustle and bustle of the convent, a rainbow watches over us! Thank you for taking care of everything always! ;O)


Here's a close-up of of of the posters made by Sr. Huong. She used paper napkins for this work of art and will be teaching me some of her craft before she leaves for her new appointment in Da Nang.


When evening came, the lights around went up! It's like Christmas in August! And true enough, Christmas, Easter and Dedication Days are the days that these lights come on. Sounds big and special enough for me... :O)
