Yesterday on Oct 12, 2007, I did something I never expected to do so soon. Well, at least not in the next 20 years or so... I paid S$65 to ACRA and registered for my little business.

It's been over six weeks of discernment, and all fingers point to that direction. In the next few weeks, I'll be laying out all the foundations... setting up the vision and mission statement, laying out my business procedures, possibly doing up a website...

I want my work to be able to get out there in the open for people to be inspired! And at the same time allow that flexibility for me to practice on my other "minor" skills of the craft. Not only will I be able to call the shots, but hopefully in time I will be able to choose the projects I want to take on, and really polish up what I love to do.

Several of my friends were concerned that I wasn't going to be able to draw (no pun) a stable monthly income, but this is where I live out "Give us today our daily bread", trusting fully in His abundance! Thank you all my friends for that list of 100-odd word bank/name list. Thank you, Pete, whose idea went through many refinements, but at the end of it when it came down to the crunch (even after reflecting on the story of Creation), the original still stood out.

Last night before I slept, I felt a sense of peace and positiveness about Hue, as if many are praying for me. (Thank you, all of you!) It's a good sign, since I've had a lot of unfavourable obstacles and many tasks to complete in the last few days. I leave Singapore in two hours...

Like many, I've been wanting to document my life on a blog. I was just waiting for the opportune time... something significant to happen for my first posting. I waited and waited.

Days turned to weeks, weeks to months. Finally, a year had passed.

As time speeds across the face of the earth turning winter to spring, I began to realise that HEY! This is the opportune time! Every single day... all its ups and downs... my crosses. Share it with whoever wants to read it... it might serve much more than just words on a blog.

And then, it happened. I managed to get through and spoke directly with a former Imagineer of 16 years! Suddenly it hit me again... today I shall begin my story. A journey that started over 11 years ago. My life towards my dream job – to be an Imagineer at Walt Disney Imagineering.
